SIGURLÍNA INGVARSDÓTTIR - CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Sigurlína Ingvarsdóttir is an independent advisor with her company Ingvarsdóttir ehf. as well as being a partner at Behold Ventures, an early stage VC fund focusing on video games. Sigurlína is an Industrial Engineer with a 20 year career in pharmaceuticals, retail and video games. She has held senior leadership roles on Star Wars Battlefront and EA Sports FIFA, multibillion global video games franchises. Sigurlína is the Chairman of the Board of Solid Clouds, vice chairman of the Board of Festi and a Board member of Eyrir Vöxtur and Aldin Dynamics.

HALLDÓR J. KRISTJÁNSSON
Halldór J. Kristjánsson has extensive experience in many different positions in public administration in Iceland as well as international finance markets. Halldór served as Secretary General, Ministry of Energy and Industry, CEO of Landsbanki and has held senior management positions in banking and financial services in the UK and Canada.
In addition Halldór has served on the boards of numerous companies, business associations and associations of financial companies.

FIONA FEI
Fiona Fei is the International Business Director at Geely Holding Group, a Fortune 500 company focusing on automobiles and mobility. Geely is a pioneer in new energy vehicles, especially methanol vehicles. For over a decade since joining Geely, Fiona has led or been deeply involved in various international mergers & acquisitions and joint venture transactions to support the expansion of international footprint of Geely. She is currently leading various strategic projects in connection with global strategic investment and commercial development.

LAURENT VAN WULPEN
Laurent Van Wulpen is the Strategic Development Director at Methanex Corporation, the leading manufacturer and distributor of methanol to global markets. Since joining Methanex Europe in 1998, he has held several management roles in the areas of marketing, logistics, sales and operations. Currently, he’s leading various strategic initiatives related to Corporate Development, global commercial projects and Responsible Care.

SIVERT VIST
Dr. Sivert Vist is the Investment Director at Equinor Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Equinor. Equinor is an international energy company headquartered in Norway. Equinor Ventures is dedicated to investing in early-phase and growth companies. Since joining Equinor in 2004, he has held various management roles within operations of large onshore plants, mega-scale international investment projects as well as within research and development. Sivert is Board member of Elestor B.V. in the Netherlands.

KRISTINE KVALØ JOHANSSON
Alternate Director
Kristine Kvalø Johansson is an Investment Manager at Equinor Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Equinor. Equinor is an international energy company headquartered in Norway. Since joining Equinor in 2010, she has held various position with responsibility for procurement processes, strategic partnership and negotiations. Equinor Ventures is dedicated to investing in early-phase and growth companies, currently she leads and supports investment processes and portfolio management. Kristine is Board member of Rovco Ltd. in the UK.

LOTTE ROSENBERG
Chief Executive Officer
Lotte Rosenberg has extensive experience and a distinguished career within the energy industry, having held key positions such as Senior Vice President at Ørsted, Chief Commercial Officer at Nature Energy, and, most recently, Co-CEO at the start-up company WPU, specializing in the upcycling of plastic waste to oil. Aside from executive management experience, Lotte Rosenberg has had a focus on strategic growth, development of international partnerships and building organizations primarily in Europe and North America.

BJÖRK KRISTJÁNSDÓTTIR
Chief Operating & Financial Officer
Björk Kristjánsdóttir has over 15 years experience in business and finance focusing on financial management, entrepreneurship, strategic & change management. She has co-founded companies and held management positions in the tourism industry in Iceland. Björk holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics from the University of Iceland and is a certified accountant.

BJÖRN HARÐARSON
Engineering
Björn Harðarson has over 14 years experience in the field of engineering and management, including eight years in the oil and gas industry in Norway, working in process engineering for Equinor (previously Statoil) and engineering firm Reinertsen. Adept at ensuring effective workflows and fostering innovation to ensure continuous technological development and improvement. Bjorn has a M.Sc in Mechanical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, with specialization within sustainable energy systems. Bjorn joined CRI in early 2017 and has been manager for the Engineering department since 2018.

EMERIC SARRON
Chief Technology Officer
Emeric Sarron has over 15 years experience in the chemical and syngas industry. He is a specialist in CRI’s core technologies and processes.
His previous positions include Senior Process Engineer at Haldor Topsoe and Process Control Engineer at Air Liquide. Emeric has received Chemical Engineering masters degrees from KTH Royal Institute of technology in Sweden and Centrale Supélec in France.

KRISTJANA MARÍA KRISTJÁNSDÓTTIR
Chief Commercial Officer
Kristjana Kristjánsdóttir is an experienced international project manager working in the energy industry for 10 years, both in Iceland (Landsnet) and Australia (EnergyAustralia and AGL). Kristjana joined CRI in 2013 to manage the expansion of the George Olah Renewable Methanol Plant and later joined the management team. Kristjana has a BA degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Bifröst University in Iceland and a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Sidney.

MICHAEL ERTMANN
Chief Development Officer
Michael has over two decades of experience in energy and holds an MSc in Economics as well as an MBA. Previously, Michael was Managing Director at EIFO (Danish Export and Investment Fund) and was responsible for equity, loans, and project financing for Danish energy companies and international projects with connections to Denmark. Michael also served as Ass. Partner with CIP and worked with global investments into renewable energy projects globally. Notably, Michael also served as Vice President at Ørsted and was amongst other things responsible for establishing Ørsted’s venture activities in Silicon Valley.
